Community Bible Study
Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet for 30 weeks during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowships will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.
REGISTRATION FOR 2025-2026 will open May 15, 2025 .
All REGISTRATION REQUESTS (Adult and Children) will be on WAITLIST status.

Join us as we study The Book of Psalms for our 2025-2026 class which begins September 2025.
We also offer a children's curriculum Preschool through 12th Grade for those children with an enrolled parent or guardian.
- We provide a caring, supportive community in which to study the Word of God and grow spiritually.
- We will be offering IN-PERSON study at Gethsemane Church of Christ, 5146 Mechanicsville Turnpike.
- Registration fees are $35 for adults and $10 for each child.
- There will also be one core group which will meet the entire year as an ONLINE ONLY class to discuss the lessons. All other resources will be recorded for individual viewing. THIS GROUP IS LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS. Group is now full for 2025-2026.

2025 marks CBS’s 50th anniversary!
To celebrate this significant milestone, all North American classes and many classes around the world will be studying a brand new Psalms course. This Bible study organizes the Psalms thematically, making it easier to grasp their main ideas and apply them to conversations with God.

Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry. The Children's Program currently welcomes children from nursery age through 12th grade. However, due to student-teacher ratios, there may occasionally be a waitlist for the children's classes.
NOTE: OUR CHILDREN'S PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING WAITLIST STATUS FOR ALL NEW PARTICIPANTS. REGISTRATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN THE ORDER RECEIVED BASED ON AVAILABLE SPACE IN AGE APPROPRIATE CLASSES .
